stacks

im thinking about getting stacks size will be 7in. can someone tell me how much louder thay will be in the cab.

with the windows up and the radio on its really not that much louder. i wish i could make my truck twice as loud...

it will be louder in the cab depending on how short u have them...once u get to cab level then 2 or 3 inches up or down makes a decent difference...stay a couple inches above the cab...

this has been brought up time and time again, just like the giant diesel engine that everyone wants to put in the back of their truck! The sound is louder, thats obvious, you are taking the exhaust pipe from 8 foot away, to 2 foot away... its going to be louder, but you will get used to it.

IMO I would not go 7", its gonna cost you lots of $$$ and I really think 6" is the biggest I would go before it looks TOO big!

ya 7inch would look ridiculous,the 6inchers even look to big,and you would have so many adapters to get to that size,4inch off the turbo to 5inch stacks look the best,just my opinion.

seen a set of 7 on a truck looked really nice. but from what im hearing 6 or 5 is the way to go.
