Sport Edition?

Hi,
I'm going to replace my headlight lenses...but each time I find one that l like, I notice the comment "will not fit 'sport editions'" How do I tell if I have the Sport Edition. Can I tell with the VIN? The ext-cab has an emblem that says "SLT Laramie"--does the "S" = Sport? My headlights have 2 portions (main and corner)
I'm looking for clear lenses...not currently looking to do the upgraded super-duper bright beam upgrade...not yet.

Sport trucks have the body coloured bumper, 2 headlight bulbs on each side (not including the marker lights)
Where your SLT Laramie badge is would be a Sport badge if yours was a sport.

Thanks. I only have 1 light bulb. Regarding the bumper, the color does match my color (black), but its basically a black top (upper) portion that sits on chrome main bumper. No "Sport" badge. So I'm going with "Nope, I don't have a Sport edition." Thanks again! -d

John, thanks. Kinda wonder why you had to shim 'em...they're advertised as: "precision matched to the exact specifications of an OEM part in quality and fitment."... However, pics on ebay do look like what I want...and will be able to keep same wiring/bulbs. I'm not 'lectricly smart...don't want to mess with harnesses and such. Thanks again.

Again a bit odd... the ebay listing says: "Mounting brackets and necessary adjusting screws are included" ...starting to seem leary of these...

i also bought these lights (as in johnber's pics). they do fit the mounting holes perfectly, and there is adjustment screws on the back (one/housing). the adjustment screws look like like little starwheels - i didn't know what they were at first and i also used washers to 'shim' the lights for proper aim - man did i feel dumb a couple weeks later when i found out the about the adjustment screws. they are located on the rear of each housing toward the outboard side, they are a philips head.
unless you have hands the size of a child, a philips is not going to work. i had to lay on my back under the bumper looking up at the light, using a LONG, skinny flathead screwdriver i had to push the starwheel from the outside of it (rather than turning with a philips from the center). i don't think i can explain it better than that - just lie down and have a look - you'll se what i mean.

Thanks Scott. Now I'm fairly certain I don't have a Sport Edition....no tree growing out of the hood/grill. d
