special concerns for 500hp

My combo this year will end up being:

PS62 or 64 (undecided) wastegated at about 45psi
Mach 4's
Drag comp
stock HO vp44

that should be close to enough fuel and air for 500hp but the concern is this:

will I need headstuds at 45psi?

will i need to fire/0-ring the head?

headstuds can be done farily easily...roughly $400, but I know at this point i cant afford the cost and downtime required to o-ring the head. I just dont wanna run into problems with ~500hp at 40-45psi

Headstuds would probably be good insurance, but o-rings aren't needed at 45psi.

thats what i was thinking.

$1400 turbo
$1000 injectors
$100 for drag upgrade
$400 for studs

time to start saving...as long as i hit 501hp ill be happy

I killed a HG at 50 with twins so I would think 45 with a single would be the same or worse. IMHO do at least studs, its not that big of $$ compared to when you have to pull the truck down for 2-3 days to change the HG. Also while its down you will probably want to deck and o-ring ect so the costs climb rapidly! Just my $.02 from my experiences

I hope you are planning on a clutch too.
