SO now I need to know.....

I have now been convinced not to get the HRVP. I will go with a SO, and use the money for other mods. I really am looking for some serious power increase though. Something I can tell is way different, but still daily drive all the time. What is recommended?? I will be buying a new SO IP. And gauges of coarse... What next? Got an intake and straight pipe already. Injectors maybe?? or electronics??? Wanting to spend about 1500 extra over the VP. Any input would be great, im looking to order this weekend...

define 'serious'? to some it might be an Edge EZ to others it could mean smarty, tst, m7's, full billet tranny, turbo/s, water/meth, etc etc.

id say your biggest expense will be the tranny. an Edge Comp would be a good addition as it gives you timing and fuel and can be changed to different power levels or off on-the-fly. you'll want electronics before injectors because the electronics give you the boost-fooling ability.

dont forget your fuel supply issues...which should be the mod you do after the gauges. the supply needs some help and should be apparent once you install your fuel pressure gauge.

check if you have the 53 block so you can put some money aside just in case.

Serious meaning 125-155 hp at rear gain. Like I said, wanting to spend about 1500 other than the VP which I have to replace since it is dead. Tranny was rebuilt about 20k ago, should hold up a little while longer. I really dont want to tap into the VP wiring, at least until the warranty is up. So maybe some electronics that wont require the tapping in would be good to. Let me know what you think

Need at least a valve body or torque converter... there goes your cash... Need strong lift pump like FASS, then injectors and a fueling/timing box of somesort that taps the VP44 wire for most bang.... There goes the budget...

So do you think with the Jammer 3 or 4, and an edge ez, it will get me some good power with my current application??? Is there anything i should wathc out for wearing out fast?? Or will a stock turbo, and fuel system hold up to it?

yes! ive got the Edge Comp without the wire tap (an EZ) and 5's and it runs well!! EGTs can begin to climb over 1250 on a long pull but easily manageable, empty that is!! but its not enough....and the wire will be tapped soon...

walbro setup ~$200
gauges ~$300
jammer 5's ~$300 (nozzles only)
EZ ~$300
i believe you have the hx-35 so the turbo will do alright but more air would help out!!! HTT hybrid kits ~$325
