Snowplows?
Any of you guys running snow plows in the winter? how much did they cost you installed. do they hurt your MPG alot? thanks for the info, I am looking at getting one this fall.
Lots of snow plows on Ebay. The Dodge tech manual recommends that you put air shocks on the front to compensate for the added weight and when not running with plow to maintain aminimum of 15 psi in the shocks. FYI. I personally can not vouch for the expense or labor. But one day......................

I have an 8' Hiniker that is pretty slick getting on/off. I can usually hook it up in under 3 minutes. Price installed was around $2800 new but that was 3 years ago. Lots of guys run Westerns and Blizzards. I did notice my engine temp running higher after a longer highway drive with the plow blocking the radiator flow, but otherwise haven't had any problems. Check to see what front springs you have as Dodge did offer a snow/tow package with heavier springs. I'm looking at a new pair of shocks as I think these have worn prematurely. That is the only problem I've had so far. I would recommend to not drive with them on unless necessary to save wear and tear on everything.
