ive hear a lot about a smoke swich. im asuming that its a togle swich that shuts off the map sensor.....but whats the point of it? does it have any preformance gain or is it just for a smoke show?

 

I installed one.... As for as the performance gain, I'm not sure it may pickup another 5-10HP???....

But she sure does put on a smoke show when taking off...

 

ok how do you do hook it up and what exactley doe it do......i know unpluging the map sensor it just throws a code and wont fuel........

thanks for the video, but can you do it with out a edge box? im purty sure the 90-00 have the flat 3 pin conector......

 

ok the 98-00 have the triangular conector, i tried all the possible combonations with the wires and nothing.....with i think the black and orange, water in fuel light would come on and threw 4 codes......im at a loss here im gonna reachearch more tomorow and give it another try....hope somebody chimes in
