Bob, I don't have the software number here; however, the non-speed limiter software version without user input for the speed limit DOES have the high idle function working if that helps any.

For the record, I have the latest Beta which Bob emailed to me and last night in the snow I started the truck in about 27* and it idled up to 1200 and stayed there for almost 20 minutes, when i got in and touched the brake it went back to normal idle and the temp was at 170*

I know it has to be in the 20's for the it to kick in, and if its still not working...might try cleaning your IAT sensors.

Mine ramped up today and then cut out to the 3 cyl.
Did the speed limiter software come pre programed into the newer smarty's.
I bought mine in november.

when you go to install a smarty tune does it ask you if you want to change the speed limiter? if not then you dont have the update.

Anyone in the Sacramento area that can update my
Smarty for me? I'm horrible with computers and
tried twice and can't get it to work. I get stuck
when I try to create a "Smarty File" on my desktop,
to download the two files into.

good to know TJ...I'm plannin on getting a smarty in the future updated to current spec. and having expereinced the high idle this morning, it's a feature I'd like to have around along wih the 3 cyl mode but I doubt it'll get cold enough for that around where we are...

I talked to Bob and he wants me to run #3 and #5 with the updated software to see how that is and then report back to him.

HOPEFULLY after close to 2 years we might have the cruise issue fixed... knock on wood!

If not.... Smarty is going for sale.
