I recently loaded up the version 2 software with the 3 cylinder high idle at catcher0 on my Smarty. Does anyone know how low water temp must be to enable the 3 cylinder high idle, and at what temp does the 3 cylinder high idle cut out and go to normanl operation. Is anyone running this version on their Smarty?

 

The low temp high idle temps will be present in all the smarty softwares. Its got to be down in the teens for my high idle to kick in and single digit temps for 3 cylinder, but I probably need to clean my iats sensor

 

IAT sensor must see less than 32F and coolant temp less than 140F for high idle.

IAT less than 15F and coolant temp less than 140F for 3 cylinder idle.

Don't forget about the grid heaters warming the air before the IAT sensor. Ambient temps will have to below those limits that Phox posted. I was in -15C weather and never had my high idle come on.
