smarty questions
The problem is that the smarty gives you a lot of torque with minimal go pedal.
And the tranny uses the position of the go pedal to adjust the holding pressure for the clutches.
These trannies will live a long time under WOT and high rpm. But they hate low rpm, little throttle and high torque.
It will work for some time, but it will work longer and better if you use a shift kit or a custom VB to get your tranny adjusted to the new engine output.
Just my 2c

the smarty does add a lot of low end torque but you can set the smarty to the stock torque managment setting with the revo program. either setting adds 65 hp its just the aggression in the tune. mine lasted a while till i added injectors, just take it easy and would def. invest in a torque converter and a valve body but thats just a band aid basically to prolong the stock trans.
