I don't know where to ask this, but will the SMARTY ever be adjustable on the fly? Sorry if it's been asked before.

I have the same set up as upersleder and get about 16-17 mpg. What am I doing wrong? I am currently on SW5. I can drive it like a baby, and still 16-17mpg, that is with a pen and calculator!

Help! Bob

The way I understand it, Marco puts so many customizations into the Smarty software that the ECM doesn't have enough memory to store multiple versions at once. Some of the other downloaders only manipulate a few parameters, so it's easier to store a bunch of versions and switch them on the run since they are smaller.

Once programmed the adjustability is all in the right foot. The different programs will change how the truck reacts to your throttle input, but with the smarty all the different levels produce simular power, except 1/2 power of course.

I've got a couple other buddies who say the same thing.....that the power is still there, you just have to push the accelerator further. Well, I've never felt that way in my truck. I get great power out of sw9 but marginal out of sw5. Sw7 isn't even all that impressive. Maybe it is my dying VP or taxed out VP may be the better description (we'll see as I'm changing pumps this weekend). When I've driven Mike D's truck, it will haul in sw5. Oh well, just thought I'd post a different observation.

How does the different power levels affect smoke? Or is it even through out the different levels? The only thing I've used so far is an EZ, and with it on the highest setting, I'd smoke like a frieght train. Not too cool all the time. I live in hilly terrain so that's why I was curious about adjustability. Now if you run pretty conservitive(sp) with the software and stack something like a tst for adjustability would that be better? Cause that's what I'm shooting for anyways. Thanks for you help.

Just like EZ...higher setting gives more smoke before boost kicks in to clean it up. But it's much smoother than the EZ, IMO

Does it still have the great bottom end people are raving about at the lower settings? Also RJ did you dyno after your twins setup?

Just like EZ...lower settings come in more gradually... but all settings end up at the same power level by 2200 rpm +/-.

Will be dynoing tomorrow!!
