Single Stack Parts List

I have 5" exhaust and I already have a 5" chrome stack. What else will I need to get it up through the bed? I want to move it over towards the passenger side of the bed so I know I will need some 90's and some flex pipe. Just looking to see if anyone has it broken down so I can get everything at one time and not make multiple trips to the store. Thanks!

3 90's and a few band clamps but i would just mount it in offcenterd like i did, cause its gonna be way to high how you want it. just remember start from the top down, drill the stack clamp to the bed mount the stack and drill your hole, then worry about connecting it to your existing exhaust. i didn't know what i was doing and had to drill two holes.

Just like 95 Dodge said it takes 3 90's, a piece of flex, and a ubolt pipe clamp to mount it to the bed rail.I strongly suggest using the flat ss clamps to connect the flex and any other connections. Number depends on whether you plan on welding anything together.I made mine so that the pipe came up through the bed as far over as I could get it.Place a piece of straight pipe or the stack in the corner and mark the bed then cut your hole first and work from there. It's only going to be as high as you want it.Now I can throw full sheets of plywood or drywall or whatever in no problem. Why ruin your hauling capacity if you don't have to.My single stack wasn't to loud but I've since turned them into twins and I ended up throwing a resonator and muffler into the mix because it was too annoying for me.I'm getting old or something.

I bought three 90's, one is a close radius bend, four stainless band clamps, one 5"-5" adapter and an 18" piece of flexpipe for $170. Picked them up at a fleet supply shop. They are going in Today. Thanks.

Single stack is in and will have pics tomorrow hopefully when the sun comes back out. Lots quieter than with the full 5" all the way back, at idle anyhow, fixin to drive home, may be different then.

sweet its deff not as loud, but might get annoying on the highway if you have 4.10's and your in the truck for 3hrs or something like that. actually maybe not in your truck since its an ext cab might not be loud on the highway.

The stack is much more quiet than the 5" system. All that pipe that was resonating and making my rearview mirror vibrate is gone. I can actually think now. Even cruising on the hwy at 65 I can hold a conversation without yelling. Should have done it sooner and the single looks awesome!

looks good...leave it up high if you like the quietness of it...if you miss that mirror vibrating resonation, cut it off down below the roof line and you will have that all back!!!!

personally i would have it about 2" above the roof line or maybe even 1 inch above it. i had mine 2" above it and it was sealing all the way so i took it apart and pushed it down now its even with the roof line or maybe a little lower, it deff sounds different lower or even not in a good way. i think im gonna raise back up 1-2" and just buy a band clamp to seal it up.
