should I ?
No answers in the performance forum....so...I have a new(reman) 215 pump and oem 215 injectors for my 95 auto . Should I install a plate and gsk while the pump is out , leave it alone or just slide the orig one ahead ? I would like to keep the fuel economy as good as possible while extracting the potential power from it. Money is no object as long as its not mine.

i would waut until the warranty is up on the pump once you break that bolt loose or cut the cable they will not warranty it. it would be easier to do it with it off the truck, but i would put the pump on their first to see if it works properly

I have no worries about the warranty or my transmission...I have plans of getting a custom transmission and the pump can be warrantied by myself if the worst happens(I'm a service manager eh)! I know i can crank out the power, but I want to retain some/most of the milage. The way the 24's and common rails respond to chips and other power enhancments that increase power also / usually increase better milage as well. I hope the 12v also will see a milage increase with a more efficent and powerfull fuel system....i hope.

I understand that the combination of a #10 plate and the 3K governor spring kit is a very nice combo....it' also quite tunable to your driving needs whether it's street fun or towing. While I was at PDR we have very good success with that combo on alot of customer trucks....
If you put in those two components and set the fuel plate in the "stock" position you'll see roughly 65-70 RWHP gain....(hopefully my memory is right here) but you can always call the guy's at PDR and ask for the straight scoop.
