Shopping bumpers...

Does anyone make a "plain Jane" heavy duty bumper for the front and back that doesn't cost a zillion dollars...I'm not cheap but when 2 bumpers are worth more than my second car...

Don't know what a zillion dollars equates to, economically, but checkout the bumpers from buck stop

They got pics in the back of most Diesel Power mags - not this month's, tho

I like that the shape and form fits the second gen body-style.

Tough Country makes a product similar to Ranch Hand. I believe that's the route I'm taking. I like the Road Armor, but I really don't want to give $2,900 for a front and rear bumper. That just seems over-priced. I know steel is high, but man....

I was quoted a tough country apache w/all the fixin's and a rear 8" drop shipped freigh for just over $1300. I'll be ordering it next week. If you like the looks of it, shoot me a PM and I'll get you the phone number for the place.

My ARB was a bit under $1100 shipped. There should be photos of it in my gallery, or check here if you have a high-speed connection: http://jimpointeronline.homestead.com/ramphotos.html (Some of the photos on that page are quite huge.)

In addition to a reasonable price, the big chrome bar on the front gave it a much higher "spouse acceptance factor" than any of the other available options. She likes shiny stuff.

Have any of you guys checked out www.trailready.com ? I was looking up the price for some beadlocks for my Jeep and saw they made bumpers for our trucks.
