Shameless Smarty request

I posted this on one of the other sites in hopes of finding a few guys in Georgia to talk diesels with. I figure alot of the people here also read there as well.

I am getting the transmission done on Monday with a Goerend brothers and a triple disk. Is there by chance someone in or around Atlanta willing to show off the smarty? I was thinking I was all set going with the Edge comp, but all of this smarty talk has me thinking. I do ALOT of towing and would just like to get a 10-15 minute drive and I would certainly pick up the tab for lunch. I think if I can get a few questions answered on which to purchase first, it would be money well spent.

While on this subject, is there a group of Dodge owners here in Atlanta that get together on any kind of schedule? I am out on the West side of Atlanta.

chris if need be I sent a smarty to a guy down in Lousiana to try. I can have him sent it to you and then you can return it to me.

It that would help.

That is a very gracious offer Bob. I have been on the fence on the next step for a while. Then the transmission decided it needed some attention, so I had to cure it. Hopefully it will roll out of the transmission shop on Monday afternoon a new machine.
I had first looked at the Edge EZ, then noticed the VA was cheaper and many liked it just as good as the EZ. I checked locally and found that I could get a stellar price on the comp so then I had decided the flexibility would be worth the little extra. Then the Smarty caught my attention. Looks like I can get my towing performance and the fuel saver when it is a commuter vehicle.

I would certainly appreciate the offer of trying the Smarty out as all of the reviews are very positive.
