Setup

Okay guys, Just a quick TGiving Question!

I'm runing a 01 5spd with a banks quick spool 14cm housing and straghts.
I just got the truck and im taking the ottomind of and going with a drag comp. what kind of numbers will this show and can i put a mad ecm in ? I'm planning on going with a set of Mach 7's and Twins from PDR in the future im just wondering if anyone had run a similar set up and had numbers on it. No close dyno. Also what about boost #s?

there is a special MAD ECM that is compatible with the Comp. no idea for the #'s a drag comp would show; seems whoever dyno's is running injectors, turbo, etc. with their comp, and rarely see #'s from just a box. boost with the 5 spd, which is the HX-35w 12cm housing, should be mid 30's as a guess...the outer limits of the turbo, but you have a different housing. as a result, TIP should be lower but the efficiency range of the compressor should remain the same.

i would get gauges...

dont forget to fix the 5th gear nut problem and upgrade the input shaft to 1 3/8" with the Mach 7's.

someone should correct my incorrect statements !

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the reply. Im not much on the 24v . I almost wish i had bought another 12v or a new one... who knows tho. I lost 3 input shafts on the 12v , this time i decided when i got to that point id just order a tranny thats built. Ive heard some of bluementhal but im not sure where to go for a good tranny. I havent had good luck with remans. Its just alot of investment for someone young.

Mach 7s and a MAD ECM will drown the motor ...to much fuel on the bottom end I only have mach 1.6s and can see it if i hammer the go pedal from stop. someone else will chim in if im wrong.
