Schedule 80 for traction bars?

I'm having trouble finding 1/4" DOM locally. Would some schedule 80 (.20 thick) be stiff enough? I don't plan on pulling with the truck. I just want to eliminate the axle wrap when I'm playing around.

If its schedule 80 seamless then it is dom pipe. There is only 1 way to make seamless pipe and that is to draw over mandral.
I will be doing the same thing.
