Rough Idle with Jammer IV's anyone?

For some reason, my idle is getting rougher and rougher. I just wondered if anyone was running these injectors and have the same observations. Not that it bothers me, it just lopes real bad when feathering the clutch in reverse. I have checked all my lines and intake, everything seems to be tight and good to go. Any advice? I'm watching my fuel gauge real tight. I hope that isn't the problem. I have 13-14 PSI at idle. I only see 3 or 4 at WOT!!!

Did you have them pop tested and balanced ? or just put the nozzle on and roll?

I had jammer 2's and a set of 4's...Both loped. Switched to Machs and idles smooth now.Never figured ot why it loped with the jammers.

Mach's are certainly the best of the best as far as injectors go.

No. I didn't go to the trouble to test them. I just swapped them truck to truck, injector and all. I got them sooooo cheap, I just put them in and went. I wish I could afford Machs, but I blew my wallet on all the other stuff I put on here. Maybe next Christmas the old lady will buy me a nice set! Don't get me wrong, I do like the Jammers. They run great, I just wondered if there were any tricks to smooth out the idle, it don't hurt a thing.

First off you are flirting with a $1,000 VP44 running 3-4psi at WOT...keep the box turned down, or get a pusher pump on there ASAP.

secondly, the jammers are known to lope like that, but one thing you might want to check thats easy to do is pull the valve cover and check the torque on the injector hold down tabs. i had one come loose after i installed my DD3's a few years back, and that caused a rough idle. i checked the torque on them and then it ran alot better.

1) I'm looking at pusher pump options right now
2) Thanks for the advice. I'll check the torque on them this week.

Thanks!
