I'm working a deal with Rip on one also. Have any of you guys put the muffler in backwards? I would think it would be slightly louder. Dunno for sure tho ;D

Re:Rip Rook's Exhaust!
You're right Jack. That is the site. Rip is a great fellow also. If you ever get on the nwbombers site you can see what those folks think also.
The sound is a cross t'ween a turbo prop and a motor home. With the ring out, a AFE mega cannon, a 14cm2 housing and the 4" exhaust, just guess how it sounds. 8)
A far as the muffler backwards, it prolly would little good. The muffler has little "punch cups" that catch the flow. That does change the sound and give a little muffler effect.

I like mine. ;D ;D ;D

..Preston..

Re:Rip Rook's Exhaust!
I'm just hoping he has something for the stock exhaust. I would consider a 4" but I have a pac-brake on the stock size exhaust, and I don't want to mess with that, so it doesn't look like I have much choice in terms of size.

Re:Rip Rook's Exhaust!
if ya got a turbo mount brake ya mount a 3 into 4 in downpipe to the brake w/ no prob.clamps right onto back of brake. then ya shld go with a 4 into 5 adapter back from there with rips allied muff.
go big and keep the temps down

Re:Rip Rook's Exhaust!
My new exhaust just arrived from Rip today. It is SWEET looking ;D. Even the packaging is awesome. He goes way out of his way to insure that you are happy. If you are thinking of getting a system, do yourself a favor and get a hold of Rip. That 5" tip is really cool also. Looks like I'll be holding off painting the basement this weekend and put this new exhaust instead ;D 8)
