Renewing bug shield

The bug shield on my truck is pretty faded from the sun and has some bug stains and swirl scratches that wont come off. Is there a way to refinish the bug screen? I have used plastic renew on the quad, but didn't know if it would work on the shield, or if there is some other way of going about it. Something like those headlight refinishing kits, maybe?

I've tried several products on my OEM shield.
So far no luck.
