My 3rd brake light is leaking and i have tryed to reseal it many times.so i was looking at getting a replacement and saw this as a chance to upgrade. How well will the Recon seal to the truck and keep the water out? better then stock?

 

Not sure how well it seals by itself but I ran a bead of silicone around it to make sure it wasn't leaking. Now if only I could get recon's cab lights to stop leaking.

 

I ran a a bead of silicone around the stock light several times and it still leaks...

 

mine seals great no probs just used the gasket they sent make sure everything is clean biggest problem is overtightening
