Rear Axle Options for Sled Pulling

I found a D80 on a DRW truck pretty close, and I found a D80 on a cab and chassis DRW farther away.. Is it that big of a deal if I can get both for similar prices.
Thanks!
Not to hijack thread but I'm in need of rebuilding my clutch packs on the D70. I've tried adding some additive and don't want to risk a complete replacement. The shop looking at doing the clutch job talked about replacing with a Detroit Locker type limited slip. How do these hold up and would I be better off replacing stock clutch packs and saving $ for some stronger axles. Or should I save $ and do both locker and axles. I also plan for truck pulling this year.

Dana 80
I have a Cab and chassis Dana 80 in my truck now. About 1.5" narrow per side(3" total) than the Dana 80SRW. I would guess that the DRW dana 80 would be about 3" wider overal maybe a little more than the SRW. Only thing bad about the cab and chassis DRW end is that the Drums are really mounted inward, so from the rear of the truck you can almost see the complete width of the drum outside of the tire. If you look at the axle with the tire off you can see what I mean. You also have to have like a 7" center cap for it. I put my old centers back on and tore one up. I have seen probably 3 or 4 Dana 70's break. 3 of them have been the ring/pinion gear.
