Got a friend with a 98.5 and myself wondering about this stuff. First off he has electrical injection right? now has anyone used this stuff if so how has it worked for you it says up to 10% increase 1 oz. :32 gal.

Will this make an improvement on my rig with the X2

It is electronic. Go with ashless non-synthetic 2-stroke oil or Opti-lube. RBP is good too but why pay more?

 

sorry i missed this when u first posted it i guess. i use in every tank, i can feel and see a difference. my motor runs smother, and when i first used it i got a 2 mpg difference, but that wasnt saying much, i went from 11 to 13 mpg. ill have to stop useing it for a tank or 2 and see what im at now without it. but yes i use the performance additive, i think webcruzer's sudjetion would be better if you just wanted to use the regular stuff.

 

put bio fuel based additive in, there is one called soy boost or smoething like that i read a report on which lubricity boosters worked and that was # 1

 

good info, i was looking into B20 to see what it would do for me ill go take a look at that too

 

with most bio fuel yo will loose mileage, its supposed to be cheap that was it doesnt matter but since its the same price i wouldnt put tons of bio in the tank , a cople of gallons and the rest diesel, its really in this case only being used as a lubricant not and alternative fuel, there is some steps that are needed to convert to straight bio.

 

iv been looking and from what i saw on alot of reasearch is that the B20 mix gives you the best of both worlds with better milage and performance. still looking around though, need to find somewhere here that sells it.

I've never bought there, but it says they're a retailer for B20.

 

dang it just filled up, ill see if theres any difference nexting time i fill up.

 

Is it safe to run B20 in a truck that's never seen bio in it's life? Do you need to change fuel lines and stuff?

 

i have the fass so im not worried about that, but i think u still have to change any rubber lines but im not positive about that. from what iv heard the only thing u have to worry about with bio is all the crap its going to clean out of your system. you may have to change the fillter a few times but thats about it other then the lines and stuff like that. i know alot of diesel drag cars run B20, ill look it up agen but i thought it was one of the best fuels to run.

 

stupid question but what is B20? and why would you add 2 stroke oil to your fuel... just to help lubericate i take it. whats this RBP additive?
