hey i just got a couple questions bout the rack plug and/or washer mod. ive been readin the "nice rack" thread on competition diesel and its left me confused. it seems like the washer does the same thing as the rack plug but its about $11.70 cheaper.

So why go with the rack plug?

Is one more reliable?

Does one make more usable power?

How thick of a washer can you use before its overkill or hurts performance?

21mm seems to be general consensus on the 160/175/180 pumps, but 17mm is about the max on a 215 pump. Anything beyond 17 is counter productive on the 215.
