Well finally got mine hooked up today. Took me a while since I did my Holley Blue and Vulcan Big Line at the same time. My truck is basically stock, with just intake and exhaust. Man does this thing pull!! I got a new file from Quad that is supposed to take care of surging (and there was surging). Egt's and boost shot right to the limit right away while the program took care of the EGT's really well. Just like Lotero says "it defuels but still just keeps pulling". I cant wait to go out tomorrow and try the new file. I had a Bullydog torque dog before this and this thing beats the BD on level 2.

 

I sent all current beta testers and update via email this afternoon. IT should have a short explanation and should remove or at least make the surging not noticeable.

 

Looks like mine is shipping Monday as well. Can't wait to get some back to back comparos with the TST/Smarty Stack.

 

Okay Quad, new tires, tierods, drag link, pitman arm, and steering stabilizer. I'm ready for my go around with this box. I'm gonna sell my Juice w Att and be your number one promoter of Qzilla products. Pretty soon UT will dominate the performance diesel truck industry, with the help of qzilla of course.

 

i got the phone call today... lol whatever i'm working on at the shop that day the chip shows up is gonna come to a grinding hault cause that chip is going in the second it lands!

All on the aggressive tune without the anti-surge update...

A really smooth graph...mileage has gone up too...I'll track it for a while to get a accurate number.

Yep...stock turbo...but it looks like that'll be a consideration VERY soon...on levels 4,5 & 6 it gets toasty quick...

 

If you only picked up 2 hp between PL4 and PL6 you need a charger I would think.

Does the smoke ever clean up?

Either way those are pretty stout numbers considering the mods!

 

The smoke never clears above 3...came a little closer on 4, I didn't seem to run out of fuel just air...yeah I need a charger to get the most outta this box and cool things down a little...I want to add some better sticks too like a set of F1 Mach 2's...maybe get to 450-475 HP.

I'm extremely impressed with the overall performance of this box, it responds RIGHT NOW and never seems to run out of steam...I run around town in PL02...it's got plenty of guts and is easy on the fuel...looks like my mileage is going up too, I used a lot less fuel on my trip today from Dillsburg Pa to Martinsville Va. (335 miles) Looks like about 19-20 MPG at 70-75 MPH...but I'm gonna keep a better record to make sure...

An odd occurrence...I didn't have as much a surge issue as some here have...on level 4 I can pedal around it and it's not too severe on cruise...above that it surges pretty good...

 

Just FYI, PL1 is the same as the middle setting on the XZT+ module. PL2 is the same as the high setting on the XZT+ module!

It should do good on fuel. PL3-6 will not provide near the fuel savings!!!

We are considering spreading the fueling out more and giving everyone a few more levels. I think this box will be a stock charger killer if we don't.
