Quick Raptor 100 Question

If my truck (2001) has been retrofitted with the in-tank pump, do I need the drawstraw for my Raptor 100? Can't seem to find a definitive answer...if so, will The Vulcan DrawStraw V work well? Thanks

Not sure what the 01's have, but I put a raptor 100 on my 03, the kit comes with a fitting called the dorman fitting. It just clips onto the fuel tank sender housing/pickup. The other end of the fitting has pipe thread, which in the end goes to the blue 1/2 hose. Hope this helps out a fellow Albertan.

try to get a sending unit without the intank pump i got mine from the dodge dealer when they do the intank retrofit kit they throw the old ones away it would be better than the draw straw and you won't be running out of fuel at a 1/4 of a tank

just what i did

If you are OK with a 3/8" draw tube, the DrawStraw V will work perfect.

If you must have a 1/2" Draw Straw then one of the DSV options will work. Give us a call and we can explain all the options.

Yes, he has the Dorman fittings on top of the tank as well. But with an in tank pump, it needs to be bypassed to get the fuel out of the tank.

Ya I missed that part, lol. You have to get ride of the intank pump. Vulcan is great to deal with, they also will send stuff by mail, which is great for us above the 49th par.
