Questions about FASS

I really need to do something about my fuel system. I tried the pusher pump but got 24 psi which I believe is way to high. The way it is right now with the stock LP I get 14 psi at idle and can easily suck it down to 0. It's at 10-12 psi at cruising speed. Can the FASS eliminate my fuel pressure problems? Do I need that whole set up or can I use the FASS pump? Thanks for the help guys.

Eric

What does the FASS II consist of? Is it just the pump or is it the set up with the 2 big filters?

the FASS II is the pump only setup and probably the best way to go, much cheaper than the FASS I. It comes with all mounting hardware, new fuel line and all fittings, and plug in electrical harness.

Does the FASS II go in the place of the stock LP? Does know the price of the pump? (Or a ballpark figure.) Thanks

Spend a couple more $$$ and get the FASS with the air seperator and filter, do it right the 1st time. My buddies and I have several diesel's and everyone comments on how smooth mine runs and idles, and usually get a couple extra miles to the tank, must be the air seperator!! 14psi all the time even WOT!

Thats all that it comes down to, if you want to spend the extra money or not and if you want the air seperator or not. The pumps are exactly the same and both will give you your 14-16psi.

It mounts to the bed or frame rail right next to the fuel tank, which is the correct place for a lift pump so that it pushes fuel to the injection pump instead of pulling it there like the stock lift pump has to do.

There's a couple pics in my gallery too....might give you a clearer idea of where it goes. Your stock LP goes in the trash
