Quadzilla vs Analog Gauges?

98 12v Manual

Want fuel pressure, boost, egt

Is the Quadzilla stand alone?
Does it do something besides just read the numbers?

Why? Ijust gotta ask...

Is it because the manual gauges will be easier to read?

More reliable #s?

Easier to install?

I had a three pod gauge pillar a a single on the steering column. All Autometer. The wiring is a pain and a mess, was regularly troubleshooting the boost and pyrometer gauges and taking them back to be replaced. Finally got tired of gauges, ripped them all out and went with a monitor. Way more info all in a lot more compact unit. Cab looks a lot lesss gotti too. Yeah you can see gauges a lot easier but I like the monitor better. Has been a lot less hassle too.

I'd agree with pato that its simpler on a 24V with the Quad and you will get more info..... (never had a problem with my manual gauges in the past 6yrs...) but on a 12V.. I'd go with manual guages, unless you going to go gauge crazy, and will need the extra space for gauges...

The commander has worked well for me. Trans, boost, eng temp, and egts all easy to read digital readout on the pillar. Fuel press is a stand alone hooked to the filter housing...22psi.
