I just installed a hypertech power progammer 3, on my truck i run it on level 3 and now i am looking for a gauge set up but don't want to spend to $$$ if ya know what i mean does anybody out there have the quad recon gauge if so do you like it not like it etc.. THANKS

installed quad recon qauge and it will not read EGT's on my buddy's truck it just stays at 32, switched his head unit and my head unit thinking we had wiring problems and his still didn't work on mine anybody else had this problem???

 

sounds like wiring under the hood might be loose or something. check the wires going from the pyrometer to the recon gauge. maybe see if u can unplug the gauge and get an ohm meter to see if there is any resistance or breakage in the wires. my recon gauge that came with the Adrenaline says 32 also but i dont have the pyrometer hooked up cus i got a mechanical gauge, so it sounds like something is not connected somewhere!!

 

mine on my truck works so we tried switching are digital units thinking the same wiring problems but when we switched them his didn't work w/ my wiring harness which worked before??
