Quad Adrenaline Beta Testing....
Only difference was...
-Mach 4's
-LSD (more BTU's than ULSD)
-Smarty on #3, TST Comp on #7
-25 psi launch
-night time track with temps in the 60's
Saturdays tests were not for max performance. Because I knew I would be making many passes, and wanted to keep tranny and coolant from overheating...I only used 10 psi launches.
But since going to Mach 6's I have had trouble building boost on the line and spent last yr unable to get under 13 sec. The adrenaline has solved that problem so should be a good yr.
But Sat was all about comparison testing.... not max results. (also had a 10 mph headwind).

Could not open New Comp tune that was e-mailed?? Saved it, added .exe suffix, but would not load?
Right now we are finishing up the 0-60, and the 1/4 mile tests. The tire calibration is already done as it had to be finished before we could to the performance tests. We are expecting tomorrow or Thursday to have an update to add the above things.
We also are slightly modifying the warm up mode message so that it does not block as much of the main display. Then we are changing the de-fueling and warnings message to act the same way instead of flashing the whole display like it does now. From now on warm up should flash slowly between "warm up" and "Coolant XXX". Defueling will display "De-fueling" "Parameter XXX". Warnings will be "Warning" and "Parameter XXX".
Then we are adding some small things such as check marks or "dots" next to parameters that have already been selected as one of your displays so that it is easier t keep track of them.
The last thing we are modifying is the data logging and records section. We are changing this so that it either records the minimum or maximum of each parameter, whatever is important. I see no reason displaying the minimum egt or coolant temp. Then we are going to make it easier to see them and store them until you clear them instead of at each keystart. We are also going to store your best 0-60 and best 1/4 mile time and best 1/4 mph as well.
Most of this is small stuff and will be done quickly. Since there is so much more on the Pulse than the Commander we decided we needed to touch some things up to make them "prettier".
Once those are done, hopefully this week we are going to finish up Stage 2.5! I say 2.5 because it is between Stage 2 and 3. I would think that part should be functioning sometime next week. We need to decide how to display some of the adjustable parameters such as a bargraph, pie graph, straight numbers, or some sort of escalating graph.
So, there should be an update or maybe 2 this week and then hopefully one towards the end of next week and everything will be totally functional.
So far, other than making things prettier, flashing warnings slower and stuff like that I am not aware of any real "issues" with the Pulse. Everything seems to work that is supposed to work. If you do have something going on you need to call us or email us because we don't know about it!

I installed the Pulse today, and I have to say I like it a lot. Well done!
One thing that helps me, is I can set it up to display, throttle position, rpm, boost, and EGT. Using it to build boost (for a boosted launch), works really well, because I can open the throttle to a certain % (23% works well for me), and then wait unit the boost builds. I don't have to keep adjusting the throttle to get the correct boost. 23%, 1950 rpm = 17 lbs of boost on my truck. Quick and simple. I'm going to play with setting up an alert, to tell me I'm at the correct staging power level. This is fun!
Oh, and for the people using RAD's, the Pulse will still display RPM even though the tach doesn't, when the RAD is on.
