quad adr/pulse

ok guys i just put this thing in today runs great. But i went out tonight trying to get the smoke and power got the power but not that much smoke. I adjusted the fuel press gauge setting on it up to 8 instead of five thought it might help it did i had WOT at the light some smoke and then i let off the accelerator cause i got behind another car and then my truck completely died. was that because of not enough fuel or what. And if you guys could give me some pointers on getting more smoke to.

did it restart?
What was and is your fuel pressure?
Is the CEL on?
I've seen this happen if your under hard WOT then let really fast it kinda runs the injector lines empty, you usually have the crack a couple injectors to get the air out.

I think your going to need to upgrade your fuel system. 10 psi idle is low and add your new Adrenaline and it's a recipe for disaster.

I noticed you said you adjusted the fuel pressure gauge on the pulse. That only makes it read higher, its for fine tuning in case its a little off. If you turned it up it could read 5psi when its really at zero know what i mean? What did you have for fuel pressure when it was at set at 5?

Oh and for fuel systems, after screwing around with holleys and carters, it will be worth it just to do an airdog right away. I wish i would have from the start, it would have saved me time and money in the long run.

Download a new tune in it. It sounds like you have an older tune that would allow the adrenaline to drain the rotor. The new software won't allow that.
