Unhappy Pyro gauge problem

Just installed my NEW pyro gauge but it won't come up more than about a millimeter off of the peg, even at WOT on the highway... There was a pyro lead already installed on the truck that I used with a new gauge. I'm hoping I don't have to buy another lead. This one looked good with no chaffing or damage to the wiring. Is there something simple that I could have done wrong? Installation was done according to the instructions but there always seems to be a lesson learned out there... My one thought right now is that the lead behind the gauge may have popped loose while I was installing the A-pillar... Not looking to pulling that A-pillar off if that's the case...

Thanks!

Do you have a digital multimeter? If so, id check the continuity (resistance or ohms) on the thermocouple.

If there is a problem with the probe itself, it should read open (0 ohms)

Thanks! I'll try that tomorrow (if I get home early enough from work...)
