Has anyone out there tapped the pump wire on the vp44 and had the pump fail ? If so what issues if any did you have with the dealership ? Also is anyone running the banks boss hoss module and had any problems ?

Rule is, if you mod it, expect to be your own warranty station.

 

Dealer techs are taught to look for pierced pump wires and your engine warranty can be cancelled if they find any.
Whether or not they look is whole different story though. Best and most honest way is to figure if you're going to jack up your hp you've just become your own warranty station.

 

Yep I had trouble. They said we can try to sneak it past them, but if it comes back you pay us the 3,000 bucks! So I bought an HO pump new for 1200!
