Pump Relocation

So I ordered the Vulcan kit from Geno's that moves the LP back by the pump. Before I install it I wanted to ask of those who did if they are satisifed with the results. Or, would they have rather installed a pusher in addition to a stock location? I guess when the kit gets here I will decide what additional fittings I would need to have a two pump system if I decide to do it. Could just send it back and order the pusher kit directly from Vulcan.

This last weekend my power dropped of climbing out of a lake basin so it looks like another LP is due to be installed. It might have something to do with the bio diesel I run as it was cold the night before but I have had enough LP's go to know the symptions.

I LOVE the Vulcan kit! I ran a pusher in the past, but I like this way better. I think you'll be happy with it. I get 14psi @idle and 8@WOT with all my mods.

Well if nothing else the vulcan kit makes pump swaps a walk in the park. The geno's kit is slightly different than mine, but with my current pump the 15psi guage is pegged at idle and sometimes at cruise. I can pull it down just past 12 wfo.

If you just ran some biodiesel you might want to check your fuel filter.

I love my Vulcan relo kit. I have another stocker just in case, and it is an easy pump swap. I have 14 psi and 11-12 with all my mods at wot.

I am into my second year of running B100, can't remember when I last pumped dino diesel, so I always carry extra filters. This wasn't caused by a filter, as full power would return now and then. More like a combo of a used filter and failing LP.
