Problems with new power puck

I just bought a power puck for my 2002. After I installed it the truck would hardly creep down the road and the engine light came on. I took the puck off and it runs fine, but the engine light is still on.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Yeah, get your money back and buy a new Edge EZ.

Yeah,I agree. My Edge EZ has been on for five years now along with the DD2's. Both are the most dependable items on the truck.

van Aaken V-5

Iinstalled it on Wednesday and absolutely love it. Very nice low end response and picks right up on the top. $399 new on ebay, free shipping. Great product!

VA V5 here too ... and love it!

You may want to hit up some of the site sponsors to see what kind of deal they can give you ... that's the beauty of PM's.

One of my buddys has a puck. He has had all sorts of problems. Every now and then the engine will die after any sort of heavy throttle action (which is the best part of bombing!). Get an EZ or a VA. You will be much happier. Good luck

Send the Puck back and get a van Aaken V-5 or R box. I like the R box better myself just because it has a little better response in the lower RPMs.

A friend of mine ran a Puck on his 98.5 for around 60K miles with no problems. Have it scanned for codes. If it pops up with MAP sensor codes, it is likely just a connection problem with the MAP sensor adapter.
