uh, plug it in? seriously.

check the ground, as well as your hot wire. does the module have power? is the module putting out power to the monitor cable?

Yes it is plugged in,and the ground is direct to the battery. Instructions stated to connect wire to spare 15 amp fuse in eng compartment fuse box or quad light fuse. I do not have a spare fuse location, so it is connected to the quadlight fuse.

Does the quad light fuse have power all of the time or only when the highbeams are on?

Mine is hooked to the quad light fuse and works fine, just installed it wed. Maybe the attitude is toast.

Double check to make sure that the wire to the battery is not on the Positive + (Hot) side?
just something I've been guilty of,hard to get power that way

get a voltmeter and start verifying you have power to everything you need power at. you should do it anyways and if the monitor is bad, its not like you have the chance to replace it today anyways. be certain you have power everywhere. double check power at the fuse where you are jumpering from.
