Preparing for new dtt, bombing questions.
Preparing for new dtt, bombing questions.
Okay, the dtt is in the budget, along with some upgrades. I called dtt and they said to do whatever upgrades I wanted before bringing it up, so we could set it up just once. Has anyone else put 370s and a 16 housing on a 180 pump with stock delivery valves, a #8 plate, and a 3k GSK? I am interested in towing torque, and this is what Piers recommended-just sticking with the plate I have, adding the injectors and housing, and seeing how it works out. He thought it would work nice, lots of low end torque, great for towing. I can always change the plate later if I don't like it. What kind of numbers/curve has anyone gotten with this, how did it pull and idle? Any serious heat issues? Thanks a bunch, I am like a kid waiting for Christmas! Jeff

I have a #10 plate right now and will be adding the 370"s inj here soon. Bought them from Rip Rock for a very good price. I have the 16cm housing on with a set of 300's right now and really like them. The only reason I will be going to the 370"s is because I got a good deal on the new 370's and my friend offered 300 for my 300's
DM01

I just got my 370's in this past weekend and so far no stumble.
What you have in mind sounds like a good start.
Just add a COOOOOL air filter system.
