i recently bought a dr. performance predator III. in order to install it i had to cut the wire going to the fuel pump timing and extend it so i can crimp a wire for the predator on it. will this cause any major problems? i made sure to use good crimp connections and tape the wires well.

You shouldn't have to cut the Ip wire. I didn't have to cut mine?
