Pray for me....

So as I pull up to work and get out of the truck a couple hours ago I happen to look down and see anti-freeze pouring out from under the truck... I didnt have a chance to look at it from being a little late to work and a little scared of what it could be....Hopefully its just a cracked hose but knowing my luck I have a blown headgasket or something stupid like that...and im supposed to leave for Panama City in like a week and a half..

Was it pouring or dribbling?
I had a leak on mine, turned out to be the water pump. Replaced under warranty at about 85K miles because when I bought my '02, the warranty was 100K miles/7 years on the engine.
If it is a water pump and they replace it under warranty, have them throw on a new serpentine belt when they replace the pump. My dealer did it for just the cost of the belt when they replaced the water pump.

You changed the hoses lately? Probably something simple. Of course, if it's the hose, indicates ppm.

well I kinda looked at it alittle bit when I got off of work and it looks like it could be the water pump but I am not sure yet. I will be workin on it tomm to verify what the problem is. Anyone know what a water pump runs and how much of a pain it is to change??

water pumps are around $100 bucks if i remember corectly. there is an oring inside the water pump that can fail at 5 miles or at 500,000 miles its kinda a crap shoot to when its going to go. but if you buy a duralast or ac-delco they are guaranteed for life so you dont have to worry about buying a new oen
