just picked up a power puck for my dads '01 how will this work on his truck. ive searched and think that its a good upgrade for a other wise stock AT truck besides a K&N intake and strait pipe

 

It'll add some timing, 50 hp, and might improve mileage. I haven't used one personally, but I'd think it'd be a good bomb for that truck.

 

when i bought my truck it had a power puck on it.. i didnt even know it, until i went to install my Edge box.. heh.. they didnt stack too well! ;x but it does give a good little boost of power.. helped kill a couple stock transmissions

 

I put one on my 98.5. Made the truck alot better pulling hills and if you dont run it hard it will get a fuzz better milage...

 

how were the egts in your guys trucks at highwhay passing speed and really light towing like a load of rocks and/or black dirt in the summer cause im not worried about speed without boost cause he drives it like an old man

also would it be benifical for him to put my hx35 on his truck instead of his hy once i get my killer b on

 

I had one in my truck when I first got it my egts ran about 650 cruisin down the high way then about 750 pullin a hill. But this was with not too much of a load just a boat.
