I am new to DTR and have a question. I have a 02 with DD3 jammers, Edge drag comp, AFE intake and a FASS. My question is that i have a poping sound coming from the exaust. I thought it might have been a loose exhaust hanger but that wasn't it. The truck runs fine but just doesent sound right. Does anybody know what this could be?

I have heard something similar... exactly twice.... only at WOT and can only hear it when exhaust is bouncing off a sidewall... like a hwy overpass. Never did figure it out, but sounded like a single valve noise, to me.
Anyone else?

Thanks for the reply, yeh i thought it could be a loose valve. Could it be a clogged injector?

 

Not on mine... it runs too well!

Well my truck runs fine it just dont sound right, i think i might need a valve adjustment.
