I'd like to have one, but that doesn't tell you much.

Hello Dshiftff. I have a 96 ctd and the mods that you did to your truck are the same things that I have been told to do to get the power I need. Phat shaft 62, 4k kit, 3 piece ats, con fe and 370 injectors. How is the truck? Are you happy with the power? How warm does egts get? I just wonder if it is going to be what I want, or if I should just go all out and go bigger.

I've got the 64 and it almost spools like stock so I'm pretty happy. The 62 ought to be fine for most folks.

The truck rips really well. Lots of torque, Tough on wet or snowy roads. I dont tow but really getting on it from 0-80 Ive seen temps to 1150-1200 with the stock HX i couldnt get to 60 hammering it without seeing close to the 1300-1400° mark.
There is a definete power improvement in the upper rpm's with the 62/12.
HTH, Jim

Oh yeah, I didnt see it in your sig, But if yours is a manual witha 215 pump, you may want to step up to a 64 or at least a 14 exhaust housing if your gonna stay with the 62. Best bet is call brady at Industrial and he'll steer you in the right direction. Friendly guy.

Go with the PS62 or the SPS62, the 64 is nice but its more turbo than you need and you will give up some bottumend to run it. The PS62 is good for 550 HP.

It's either the shaft is a different size (SPS for super phat shaft and PS for phat shaft) or they are the same turbo but with different names from different corporations. I can't remember.
