Hi All<br>I am considering a performance chip made by Van-Aaken (60 hp VERSION) being sold by an acquaintence. My question is this: my local 4 wheel drive shop sells unit like these and says that there is a difference between the auto and the manual trans version.<br><br>I have A 1999 5 SPEED.<br><br>Thanks for the help<br><br>Matt

That's a negative. The boxes are the same for both autos and 5 speeds. The VA boxes are going to hook to the fuel pump directly, but they have no provision for adapting to a transmission. There is a different box for the HO 6 speed, but it has a slightly different pump and benefits from different box parameters.
