Which One
For those who have replaced one, which exhaust manifold would you go with, and how much was it? I think a 3 inch long crack is reason for a new one don't you?!?! Thanks guys!

I was looking at HTT hard....till ATS seems to have lowered their price!
Did not vote....don't have either but I think you'll find ,many more ATS manifolds.....HTT has only been on the market for less than 6 months.

I have installed both. Own an ATS (Bought before HTT came out with thiers)
ATS is not that bad to put together.
HTT comes fully assembled, and tapped for a pyro.

I've only installed an ATS on a friends truck. Drilling and tapping is obviously simple, the assembly is a breeze if you take the old single piece manifold off forst and use it to line up the new one. The hardest part I had was one of the manifold gaskets, but that was because the parts puller at Cummins was half asleep the day that the part was pulled. It was the wrong gasket by half a hole. Swapped that one out for a new one and everything was fine. Pictures of the ATS manifold on a 3rd Gen are in my gallery.

I'd hedge for the HTT, even though I have an ATS. I did the center section in the oven, ends in the freezer thing and it was still a pain to get together. Performance wise it's a wash.....
I did get faster cool down times with the ATS over stock and maybe 10-20* drop in EGT, probably just because the ports match better than my shrunken OEM manifold.

I bought used ATS...of course, it already was an external gate in it, so that was why!!
Haven't gotten around to installing it yet, soon hopefully!

Neither manifold comes with an External Wastegate.
They are exactly what the name implys....for turbos, like most B-1's that do not come wastegated. If you add a lot of fueling, it becomes possible to over rev even a B-1...so boost control is required.
Picture of an External Wastegate in my gallery...if interested.
