once more on lights

ok, i did the little jumper for the light mod. to keep the low beam on all the time. WORKS GREAT..... one question, still when i pull the dimmer switch back, just before it clicks to the high beams, it seems the lights get even brighter, especially right in front of the truck like thirty feet, then you click it, the high beams come on, low beams stay on, but this other light goes away. now i know the lights have only two filaments in them, so whats the answer to this one?

the mod you did was for your fog lights. the extra light your seeing is actually your low beams. theres a thread where you can scotch lock 2 ground wire together and make your low stay on with the high to

in fact at the moment its the next thread down

Would you mind posting a link to the discussion on the driving light mod? I'd like them to stay on with the brights.

can someone either confirm or disprove whats happening? i cannot believe that a certain spot on the lever supplies more voltage than others. but that must be whats happening.

Have you confirmed for certain that after you performed the low beam mod that they actually do remain on with your high beams?.......
