Anyone running the oil bypass system with the amsoil? I am trying to determine if it is worth the effort. I was thinking about just using the Rotella 5W-30 syth stuff from walmart? any inputs?

 

I use a pair of Amsoil BE110's which are designed for a 25 qt oil system and are designed for 25k change interval. I do not bother with oil analysis. I will change at 15000. This, I believe, is overkill. Currently using Amsoil3000 5-30 at $8/qt. the bypass filters makes it practical to use such an expensive synthetic.
