odd sized serpentine belts

Does anyone have a source for odd sized serpentine belts? I am about ready to make a couple of chenges and will need a longer belt. I found one six inches longer but think it is too long. Cannot find any listings except OEM.

Now what are you doing to your engine? The way I'd do it is to take some panty hose and make a belt with that. Then take it to your local parts store and get that size and then a couple below or above it and go from there.

Get a measurement using a piece of string, then contact Goodyear, or Gates, or whomever you chose with the measurement and see what they have available.

Raising the cab three inches and then raising the fan three inches, needs a longer belt. I also plan on a big truck alternator which will need a longer belt.

What I need is to find a listing of the different belt numbers, they have the measurements in them.

1. It will be really cool.
2. If you don't have any panty hose laying around (must be a texan thing) , go buy them where nobody knows you.

I think I would just use a string.
