He was running a Mach 6 actually. He wanted a 5.5, but they ended up a 6 in the end after all. I dont think he can go any larger on injectors and I feel they could make more power if they were smaller. He was in a rush to get them so I did not have time to make him a smaller injector.

I bet with a smaller injector his NO BOX runs would be lower , but the BOX ON runs would come up prolly 20-25 HP.

One good day on the dyno and throwing a few sets of injectors at it would net more HP. He has the air, fuel system ,clutch, etc to make it to 650 or so. Uncorrected in the Texas humidity!!

I hope they were 6th gear runs??

A cam would wake up the bottom side and help the overall picture some too.

Don you sneaky fellow... I had no idea... if these are 6's how big do you have to go before you start getting some smoke? I keep installing bigger and bigger injectors and still no smoke during normal driving. I think a lot of the credit for this has to go to the pump along with the EDM injectors. The runs were 6th gear and I guess I have a little explaining to do about the bottom end. On my first couple of runs witout my boxes on I started the run about 1400rpm and we ran into some slight smoke problems in the building... we really needed a fan. Anyways on the graphs you see I was in it about 1/2 throttle from 1500 to 1800rpm's then i punched it to help with the smoke that was forming in the rafters. The dyno was a dynojet 248 located at Total Performance in Lufkin Texas.

This thread is a tell all about the pump.... Thread

The pump is an updated version of some Hot Rod pumps Piers has already sold. The new procedure for making it has brought the price down and it is really affordable.

What is the spool up like with this set up? What kind of boost are you seeing on the street?

The spoolup is very quick... especially for the size turbos I have. Spoolup starts at about 1700rpm on the street. I am seing between 65-70psi of max boost.
