Port/polish HD valve springs, O-ring it. Spend a little more on the HG and do a 12V modified marine gasket like Jetpilot said.
Those items come to mind.
Carlquist in waterbury is a good shop for machine work.

To do o-rings you will need to have the head cleaned, decked, grooves cut, and wire installed. I would recommend also haveing the head magnafluxed and pressure tested to ensure it is good. All of this will run around $600. Then for a port and polish you can spend anywhere from $500 to $2000+ depending upon hown much you want done. Based on your mods I would go with a basic bowl cleanup and some exhaust port work. This yeilds the most bang for the buck, price should be $750 or so for the port work.

well today got to take it all apart and it blew out the silcone for the oil ports goin up stairs on # 1,3,6 u could see a little trail around the fire ring and into the gasket. got head all striped down ready for machine shop monady.
