It's no secret, but I'm in the middle of trying 3-4 different turbos out. I'm trying a small GT42, a GT6876 garrett and tried that B1-2. If you search for my DTR posts, you can see install pictures from the GT6876 and theories behind the GT42. BTW, Precision told me the GT42 wouldn't work on my setup because David Lott said it wouldn't spool on a Cummins. Silly Ford boys.

brandon.

Wont spool? A GT42? LOL. Tell that to my truck that has had for nearly 3 years.

It might take a while to get cooking, but it will spool. The small ones really spool good. 1.01 A/R housing and a 94 compressor wheel. Yeee Haww.

Brandon, your warranty is officially void! Your not allowed to have more fun than me.

That's what he's got!! GT4294 1.01 housing!

I think he needs more fuel though...there's nothing melting yet

Chris

Nice Put a locker in there so you can leave two fat rubber marks instead of one.

I have not started it yet. The machine work is all done and I got it painted all pretty and nice, but the o-rings and such are on hold. I am moving this late month. New house and shop. So, it may be a few more weeks yet.

No Problemo...got a new truck, and it will be quite a while 'till I need it. Gotta get a tranny first

I know we were talking a mild port job for towing (heat issues)...any advantage in going a little wilder?? Still need reliable though

Good luck with the move
