Thinking about injectors vs hooking up the wire, or save the money for now and tap the wire? Still want to protect warranty (truck only has 64k miles but did get IP about 15k miles ago) and sometimes think a mechanical vs electronic upgrade may be better route. Will I get too much heat w/ injectors? and then not be able to realize the gain when pulling hills w/ a load. Bigger turbo is not in future plans - do not want to lose exhaust brake. I do have the Holley Blue installed already.

 

You should be fine taping the wire as long as you have good fuel pressure and a fresh IP what kind of pressures are you have with that holley, Idle, WOT?

 

Actually I need to upgrade guage as its range only goes up to 16 lbs and has been pegged w/out any movement since Holley install

 

Look into the Mach 1.6 injectors. I ran some for a short period of time and was impressed with their performance/power. Makes for a great towing injector.
